If Trump had done this starting in 2016, things in this country would be a whole lot different. But then again, if he had done this in 2016, he probably wouldn't have won the Republican nomination, either.
The mainstream media was against him from day one. Protesters were also doing so on the day after he took office. The media was against him, half the population was against him, and the political swamp was against him. Trump was against all odds from the onset and it continued everyday he was in office. His own staff was against him with all the leaks. His family was hammered by the media along with Melania. Personally don’t like the guy, but he was one tough SOB to be subjected to all this during his term.
I'm talking about during the nomination process. Trump started doing his schtick well before the media or anyone else took him seriously. The problem, of course, is that he probably doesn't get elected without being an ass on that stage and to his competitors... but then there was little chance of him getting RE-elected because he continued defiantly on with it while worrying about his image and legacy for four years instead of focusing on policy.
So it was both what propelled him and what led to his demise all at once. But he lost any chance of support from me (and many like me), anyway, during the Republican nomination process when it became evident he was not more than a narcissistic demagogue, regardless of how great or awful his policies may have been... we never knew what they were because he never - ever - focused on them.
So regardless of his policies or actually lack of any when it was apparent that Biden was a brain dead old man with dementia you voted for him any way. The idiocy of people like you and orange man bad. Here is a tip, you werent voting for a friend or a neighbor that you need to like personally.
The rate of change this country is now going through will be most difficult to overcome. Reckless spending, inflation, lawlessness, the boarder debacle, only make people more dependent on the government. Most don’t see these issues as long term, but they are.
