Purdue has been in this very same spot before under Hazell's regime and for me he has always had this season to prove he is a keeper or just a very disappointing hire! Captain Obvious right now but for me the rest of the season is his and his staff's report card to return! Sure wish our right tackle could have at least got in the way of MSU's DE on our last play to see if Purdue could have pulled the upset!

Team needs an attitude change, and they need to come out ready to play, instead of getting down and then giving an aggressive effort. Team has loser mentality, its like a little league team, who gets a trophy cause they tried. Hazell finally started playing different players, he is not good at realizing who should be playing.

We had them but MSU forgot they were supposed to go the prevent D on the last drive and let us march right down the field. Just not fair that they didn't go by the book. We will always find a way to lose because that is what this staff does. The players are good enough to win 5 or 6 against some of the terrible teams we play and will play.

MSU pins their ears back and come with a blitz package on almost every play during that last drive.....................hhhmmmm???? Wouldn't it have been nice to through a screen or maybe a quick slant....... or even a QB roll out and run...........just to keep them just a little off balance! NO! Of course not!!!!!!!!!!!!that would be using a little common sense! Reason why we loose any close game we are in, OFF and DEF play calling down the stretch is nothing short of brain dead play calling! Rinse and Repeat!

Palm you are talking nonsense. We had it right, drop straight back behind the turnstile OL and throw off the back foot to receivers downfield who can't get separation or go get a ball. Didn't you see how we had them fooled? Brilliance!

We ARE now right where we were a year ago...in the dumpster just waiting for the season's end for both the players and the fans!

Yogi also said "It aint over til it's over." Unfortunately it's only 1/2 over in reality.

Same old story with this football staff...now we are simplifying the playbook AGAIN for a new QB that has started a few games, been there, done that, deja vu all over AGAIN!

I gotta wonder what the coaching staff is thinking in year 3, when its no better then the other 2 years, basically every team can't wait to play Purdue and get a win , the fans expect the worst every game now, and we hear excuses trying to sugar coat the disaster that has happened, i know the players made a choice to come to Purdue , they are getting an education and experience of playing college football, but the players don't deserve this
