Sure if he is qualified. Bradley is working again. Frankly, i would have hired Bradley in 2012.
yes. It has been proven multiple times in court that McQuery was wrongfully fired and targeted by the admins at PSU as a fall guy. He needs to find a place outside of the east coast to rebuild his coaching career and I am sure Purdue would be a great place to do so.
Let's hope this is behind him and that he can reunite with his wife and son. Who ever hires him will get a very hard working an solid coach.

I would be all for hiring him as a position coach who appeared to be a good recruiter and a fiery coach (from what I remember during his time at PSU).
IMO. Joe Paterno was the best college football coach for kids on and off the field in the past fifty years. At the time, I followed this case very closely and it is not cut and dry. Three high profile members of the PSU Board of Trustees hated Joe for personal reasons. The Sandusky trial was a sham. IMO Sandusky was a pervert, but he was impotent and did not have sex with anyone. The boy in the shower said nothing sexual happened. The testimony referenced about the janitor was hearsay. After the trial, it was documented the janitor told the prosecuting attorney months before that the man he saw was NOT Sandusky.
Ten years after the incident, IMO Detectives convinced McQueary more went on that night. IMO since McQueary thought Sandusky was a pervert embellished his story. Then McQueary or Scott Paterno convinced Joe that Sandusky was a pervert. Joe's recollection to the Grand Jury 10 years later was all over the place. The prosecuted asked if it was sexual and Joe replied words to the effect that you could call it that. However, since the incident Joe would allow his grandkids to play at Sandusky's house. Not something any man would do if they had the slightest thought Sandusky was a pervert,
Having said that, McQueary is hated by PSU alumni, but I think he is a fine coach. He is courageous and broke up a knife fight between two big PSU players where one had a knife. He is an excellent recruiter, is fiery and understands the game. However, I would hire him at most as maybe TE Coach and do it with as little publicity as possible.

Paterno was a gutless egomaniac. Would the results be the same if Paterno's grandson was the one with Sandusky?? You bet it would be. Embarrassing how much blind faith PSU Paterno lovers have.

I am sorry you do not know the facts, but think that because you have an uninformed opinion you should give it. If you kept reading, you would read the fact that Joe let his grandchildren play at Sandusky's after it was reported that Sandusky showered with a boy. It was reported up the line, investigated and reported to Sandusky's employer (which was run by people that are paid to spot pedophiles). Sandusky's employer told him to wear a bathing suit (which Sandusky did not follow).

Nobody is taking up for a pedophile, where do you get that? All we're saying is that the story is a lot more complicated than the surface story non-Penn Staters know.
Matt Rhule played football with Mike McQueary all through high school and college. Matt testified recently in court (McQueary trial) that he did not consider McQueary for a job at Temple. Think on that.

todd is merely pointing out that Sandusky's trial was extremely irregular and that some victims have MAJOR credibility issues. It is odd that the McQueary victim stayed close to Sandusky for many years, until the Grand Jury Presentment was made public.

I have put in extensive time helping little boys. Sandusky helped a lot of little boys, but he went beyond boundaries. IMO that is perverted, but my point is there is zero evidence he had sex with any boy. The boy in the shower and a boy Sandusky adopted at the beginning of the trial wanted to testify FOR Sandusky. During the trial they both independently met with Shubin, an attorney for other boys. They then dropped their requests, said they had sex with Sandusky and were rewarded with $3 million apiece.
I am for justice and Joe's legacy has been shattered. BTW, I have 7 family members who went to Purdue. I have zero who went to Penn State and I have never lived in Pennsylvania.
