Not sure what the spin will be, but the reality apparently is "we did not in any way actually win." Would have been nice if we did. The Houthi's continue to launch missiles, we were continuing to lose people and equipment, and so we tucked and ran. IN THIS CASE? TRUMP APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN THE VOICE OF SANITY. Of course, Trump is also the one who appointed idiots like Hegseth and Witkoff that convinced Trump to screw this up in the first place.
Apparently Biden's national security team did not want to extend American involvement in Yemen, Trump decided to wage a mini-war, and the Houthis aren't gonna stop destroying our stuff. So in typical Trump fashion, he made the wrong decision, backed out of it month's later, and declared victory because things will improve now that we no longer will carry out his bad decision. Just like the tariff debacle.

You are confused. The ceasefire concerned the Houthis attacking commercial ships, and that agreement remains in effect. The fighting between Yemen and Israel was never on the table.
I guess I am. When trump said,

I thought he meant they would be ............completely annihilated. Is this another one of those "pay attention to what he does and not what he says" deals?
I have said repeatedly that Trump is a loose cannon and much that comes out of his mouth is an embarrassment. Nonetheless the war was fought to end the Houthis attacks on commercial shipping and that has been "Mission Accomplished."
I'm sure Americans feel secure knowing they have a president that's a loose cannon. But the border is secure so all is good.
I don't think Israel feels the same as you do, or apparently as trump does, regarding the Houthis. Does he hate Israel now that he has abandoned the strikes and is allowing them to continue to attack Israel?
Many Americans feel more secure knowing the border is sealed to the extent possible.

The Israel-Houthis conflict was never part of the deal. Our Naval attack was done to free international shipping.
