G&B had some reports but it is for members. Do we know who is visiting and if someone is because of Brohm being the new coach?

His name is TJ Jallow. As in, there's always room for Jallow ! He is a 3* JuCo CB from Eastern Mississippi. he at one time was a Louisville commitment until they received a commitment from Yeast. he decommitted from Louisville in October. Brohm offered him a scholarship in November as coach at WKU. and he is now the first offer and visit for Brohm at Purdue. This is the type of player the media talks about when they say there is a connection between Petrino and Brohm. if Petrino can't find a spot for a player, he would typically give his name to Brohm when he was at WKU.

Obviously don't want to rely on this kind of recruitment, but Purdue should take the recruits any way they can till this ship is righted.

Could be a good get. Purdue needs lots of help.

You could say this is a flip by Brohm from WKU. Brohm just offered him at WKU in November, and made him an offer this week at Purdue. Brohm must like the guy. On a plus side, it shows Brohm is not afraid to recruit and sign a JuCo player if he is a quality player and fills a need.

Can show him a defensive backfield depth chart with plenty of holes and just Hunte and Mosely that have shown enough to fill them.

Western Kentucky recruited a lot in Georgia. WK offered 36 players which are still undecided. Wonder if some will find there way to Purdue?

The GBI headline said visitors with an S implying more than one recruit is visiting. I could only find the name of the JuCo db Jallow. This leads me to believe the other visitors may be athletes already committed. But you never know.

looking at some of his previous write-ups, he didn't look like a big time recruit, and was only a 2 star WR and he's had a lot of off the field issues of committing and decommitting for personal reasons. I would say let some other school enjoy his talents. We have three incoming WRs that look just as good if not better.

With strong and kiffin both at second tier schools in FL,
Will we be able to pull in as many from the southeast?
Seems like they may be able to keep some/many that would have previously wanted to jump to a p5 program

that's a strong possibility. As far as NFL recruiting goes, a lot of smaller colleges are netting their kids exposure in all star games, and they are being drafted. Kiffin is truly a salesman, and he will use that and sell that to kids in the Florida area to come and be a star at his small college than to be mediocre at a power 5 school. We live in a stats driven society. a Wr with a 4.3 time in the 40 and 100 catches and 1,000 yards at a small school is going to get the invite to the Senior bowl over a guy with 4.5 speed, 50 catches and 700 yards from a school like Purdue. Kiffin is going to sell that and Florida high school kids will buy that speech every day. last year WKU sent TE Higbee to the Senior bowl , and Purdue sent nobody.
