Floyd was notorious for alcohol-related issues during his time at ND...it was only his talent on the field that allowed him to remain on campus.
Personally, just as when Weis was there, I hope Kelly gets a lifetime contract extension...not only do they generally underachieve on the field more often than not, but the off-the-field issues on top of it along with his generally being an a$$ makes it almost too good to be true at times and so enjoyable.
