That may (no pun intended) be good news for IU partisans who covet him. If he stays and maintains his success at FAU, he would likely be available whenever the IU job opens up.

Agree with the Prof.

IU was ready to offer a younger, less experienced white guy much more than Woody (how obviously racist), so they want the fau coach to be ready once they decide to dispose of Woody. Moving to a big-time program at this time would make that less likely.

I have to agree with HoosierfanJM on this one. Dusty May might or might not ride this epic NCAA run to a top-tier job. But, I don't see any reason to bring race into it.

Sure, Purdue colossally underachieved in the NCAA Tournament, but that's only because they colossally overachieved in the regular season.

Indiana underachieved in both.
