There's a good chance that she'll come back next season, it would be her 7th in college as a hoops player, that would make a heckuve story if she does lol.

Not sure that anyone has taken advantage of loopholes more...pretty sure NCAA never intended for anyone to have 7 years.

That said, she is likely not the only one, and, if the NCAA has allowed for it, it is not her fault...Bohannon would have the same opportunity at Iowa...Sindelar would have for Purdue in football.

I'm not blaming Patberg, she's going to get her masters, that's awesome for her!

I am not either necessarily...I admittedly don't know all of the details, never mind intimate ones, surrounding her transfer...but that she had a 6th year seemed to have some questions around it already, and, now she will have a 7th. That is not her fault, however, and, great for her for furthering her education as well.

It is no different than some guys I had mentioned as well...and, Joshua Langford at MSU would have the same opportunity.

I think the difference to me in those cases is that they remained at their school and did not get an extra year of eligibility as Patberg did despite transferring.

Regardless...if I were in her shoes, I would not have done anything any differently, and, I would certainly entertain coming back and playing.
