Down 16 in the second half at home to Auburn. Might not be enough but we will see, Auburn is playing very well.

Would put Alabama at 5 lossed with us. If we can win this week (no guarantee), I wonder if this would allow us to pass them.

Welp - a 16-0 run has fueled a big comeback - Auburn leads 70-67 with just under 3 minutes left, Miller shooting FT's.

How does the B1G refs call so many technicals for talking smack but this game has been full of it and then wonder why there was almost a bench clearing.

I will say, I know people get on Painter sometimes for not drawing anything good up at the end of a game and poor clock management, but Pearl’s team just threw away that last posession.

depthcharge officially on the list now....haha.

Alabama has had 3 or 4 games in the last month that they have been down by at least 15, and they have come back in all of them. If they don't hit 3's in the tourney they are gonna get bounced.

Of course, but as good as they have been this year it is hard to find a team that relies on it so much.
Oh, I agree with you that they love the 3 ball. On the nights when they aren't falling it becomes easier to beat them for sure. But only 4 losses all year says they can and most times do, overcome it. I don't want us to play them that's for sure. Way too athletic and aggressive. Bad match up for us IMO.

I would love to play them because it would nearly guarantee a final four, but yes it would be a crazy game to watch as they play a very very different style from Purdue

They are gonna feel a ton of pressure away from home with the investigation and bad look of their star playing. I can see then losing in the sweet 16

Wow - Auburn getting its money's worth on fouls - 26, three starters disqualified on fouls, and another with four ready to join them.
I was just talking about this. I don't think I have seen a single player foul out in B10 games this year. Certainly no Purdue player.

Maybe that's the answer for the Big Ten conference......start calling them more but for conference games, give players ten fouls.

Ok I didn’t jinx it this time. Alabama lost, so if we win tomorrow we will have the same number of losses.

I wonder if they will still get a higher overall seed or if this would allow us to pass them. Might depend on how we do in our respective conference tournaments.

I would say Alabama is still ahead of Purdue, slightly. That's a Q1 loss @ Texas A & M, who finished second in the SEC. Right now, the top 5 vying are Houston, Alabama, Kansas, Purdue, and UCLA......still could change.

Texas hosting Kansas today, and UCLA hosting Arizona tonight. Stay tuned, folks......same Boiler time, same Boiler channel.
