Check it out here.

Decent article about AJH maturing. He is spot on about our chances in the tourney with this quote: ''This team can go a long way in the NCAA Tournament. We have a great front line and a great bench. We just have to be sure that we get ready to play each game and play together.''

Great frontline, solid bench. How will the backcourt perform?

Our frontline isn't a "gimme" in terms of showing up. While it's been more consistent, AJ had some pretty bad games earlier in season against bad non-conference games. Call me crazy, but I still worry every single game on which AJ we will get.

And while we may be a much bigger team, bigger doesn't equal better. Purdue has had plenty of great undersized teams perform better against bigger teams. We have to play smart and stay out of foul trouble.

Well if you listen to the CBS announcers, he's lazy and won't hustle and cost us the game there at the end...........................................hmmmmmmmm, pfffft

OK, you're crazy :) And this coming from the guy who complained about people calling Stephens out for inconsistency.

There are two reasons people are hard on AJ:

1) He's not fiery or "high motor" - even if he is locked in, he's not emotional like Hummel or Cardinal. That's just his personality, and there's nothing wrong with that.

2) He has so much potential. He can effortlessly log 10 and 5. So people think it's easily attainable for him to average 20 and 10.

I for one am not at all worried about him being locked in for the tournament. As others have said, he has played really well over the past dozen or so games. And he should be aware that he can increase his draft stock considerably over the next 6 games.

Overall he has had an amazing career and is one of the best Boilers over the last 20 or so years.

Two possible concerns.....AJH picks up early fouls and that hinders his activity and assertiveness.....poor shot selection over a stretch of the game. Absent that, I would expect AJH will have a positive impact and be one of the main keys in how far Purdue can advance.

We WILL actually know more tomorrow.....

Yeah, we can actually say that line and mean it!

you're crazy. AJH knows he will sit if he fouls and will sit the rest of the lst half when he gets his 2nd.

if he wants to play he must avoid fouls thus his perceived low motor
