Yeh, it was very concerning that on several QB keepers vs Cuse, our D had NO idea where the ball was. Then, on a crucial 3rd n long, with Cuse backed up to their own 12 and our D needing a stop, our DB shoves a guy on an uncatchable ball.
That's simply a lack of awareness and discipline which is indicative of coaching. Very concerning.
Offensively I don’t expect a ton of change since we moved the ball well enough to win all 3 games. I would guess Tracy gets more carries since Mock had fumbled what 5-6 times in 3 games. And I would expect us to pass more on 3rd and short.
Defensively we better have a spy from the beginning if qb is mobile. If not I doubt we adjust much since other than the qb running our defense has looked solid the last two games.
I would imagine there has been a focus after each game of blown assignments on both sides of the ball of which there has been quite a few.
Based on what I've seen thus far in 3 games we'll play the same man to man D with a safety high (very high). Personally, I think Kane is in over his head. But we'll see...
