Bell second.
Bell second.
Everyone said the same thing about Drue TranquillBell second.
The funny thing is will Kiser ever see the field at ND?
Don't really care. Life isn't fair, and never will be. Who was Indiana MR football won't matter one bit if they go on to do great things at the next level, and will matter even less if they bomb at the next level.Bell second.
I think he might RS and end up potentially being a 4 year starter...he is that good. The funny thing is will Kiser ever see the field at ND?
Say what you want about the ND connection, but Kiser has had a tremendous high school career and is absolutely deserving of the 'Mr. Football' title.
Guy will be a stud...will start for 52 straight games for domers. The funny thing is will Kiser ever see the field at ND?

It would have been great to have gotten Kiser. I know we went after him hard.
He had a great season no doubt. I just think that Bell's stats were better for Mr. Football.
If Kiser was playing on a big time team like Bell, he'd still have great stats...he's that good of an athlete. ND offered based on his attendance at a camp and other information not because of his stats against 1A competition.I agree 100%. Kiser seems like a good kid and good player. Bell seems like a good kid, great player, proved it against the best teams in Indiana. Kiser was playing 1a squads with no one going anywhere, Bell played teams with D1 talent. Heck I’d be angry if Karlaftis got Mr. Football over David Bell, even though it isn’t certain Bell is coming to Purdue. Bell played that well this year.
Today is when Brohm has an in home visit with Bell. I hope that visit makes it certain for us.I agree 100%. Kiser seems like a good kid and good player. So am I because the other day, psu lost a wr recruit named Emmery Simmons (3 stars) to UNC who he originally verballed to. Hoping they don't bother Bell.Today is when Brohm has an in home visit with Bell. I hope that visit makes it certain for us.
Mack Brown is one heck of a recruiter. So am I because the other day, psu lost a wr recruit named Emmery Simmons (3 stars) to UNC who he originally verballed to. Hoping they don't bother Bell.

I meant psu bothering Bell.Mack Brown is one heck of a recruiter.
. . . It’s awarding potential not actual accomplishment, and it has all kinds of bad undertones that neither kid deserves.
Not quite sure what you mean. Please explain.
How about this part?. . . It’s awarding potential not actual accomplishment . . .
How about this part?
I am sure they are constantly talking to him, but Brohm should be able to sell Bell by showing what he has done for Moore by tailoring his offense around him. He will do the same for Bell.So am I because the other day, psu lost a wr recruit named Emmery Simmons (3 stars) to UNC who he originally verballed to. Hoping they don't bother Bell.
Bell performed fantastically against top competition. Kiser performed fantastically against lesser competition. We all think Kiser would be great against better competition, but he hasn’t shown it. Its just potential that he would do it, not an actual accomplishment. It’s like giving a D3 guy the Heisman over an FBS guy.
How about this as a counter argument--Bell plays vs. better competition, but he had very high talent level teammates all around him. Kiser played vs. lesser competition, but he had a lower level of teammate around him. Does that level out the comparison at all?
Not over Bell. Look at who each player competed against in their leagues. Bell played by far better competition.Say what you want about the ND connection, but Kiser has had a tremendous high school career and is absolutely deserving of the 'Mr. Football' title.

There is no question that he’s a good player. Brohm wanted him badly and early on it looked like Purdue was the leader for him. ND then made a hard push and got him to verbal pretty early in the process. He will play for ND - quite a bit I suspect.i think he will. He needs a year and by junior year he may be starting. He has a great attitude and is better than a lot think
