A lateral move AT BEST!!!

Despite all the UofL fans trying to tell us different the ESPN announcers (didn't catch which one) during the second quarter clearly stated that leaving Purdue for Louisville is a lateral move AT BEST.

Looks like it is not in the Cards this time!!!

At the University of Louisville, we realize that we have to earn everything we get, knowing that at every step the establishment and those who are jealous or stand to lose from our rise are going to try to keep us down.


They said we couldn’t land Schnellenberger.

They said we had no chance against Alabama in the Fiesta Bowl.

They said we were doomed to languish playing our home games in a minor league stadium with 25K attendance.

They said we would never be a member of a Power Conference.

They said we would never play in a BCS Bowl.

They said we had no chance against Florida in the Sugar Bowl.

They said we would never host Gameday.

They said we would never have a Heisman Trophy winner.


Despite our accomplishments, the detractors remain loud as ever.

They say we won’t land Jeff Brohm.

They say we will never win a National Championship in football.


As before, they WILL be proven wrong!

How we would never get certain coaches, how we would never beat certain teams, how we would never win certain conferences. I'm not sure anyone knows whether he is literally "entertaining" offers or if his name is being mentioned near the top of the list. The media speculation got so rampant with Tennessee last year, but there wasn't any proof that he even had a conversation with them.
