Captain Henneman, who had a questionable record himself, may have erred trusting her to land the plane. It’s more an issue of experience than anything else here.

Doesn't matter who it was, they came in too fast, and dropped, if you watch the video, too fast the last few feet before hitting the runway. My guess is she broke the landing strut by doing that which tossed the aircraft. Thank God no one died.

Watch the video of that Toronto crash and then come back and tell us the copilot was qualified to land that CRJ.

How do you know she was not qualified. No report is out. We do it even know that it was even pilot error. Maybe it was. Maybe not. For the sake of argument that the fins report says that it was pilot error, the 2 pilots have met the requirements to become pilots with many hours of training. Many hours on a CRJ. These folks are human and mistakes will happen regardless of experience. 20 year commercial pilots make mistakes unfortunately regardless of gender or race.

I admit I enjoy your self-righteous lib rants because they are so entertaining - and because I know you enjoy making them and feeling good about yourself. Same holds for hofanJM23etc.

But I said nothing that could be construed that females should not be pilots. Learning to fly is not that difficult. Kids can do it.

What I did say was, in this case, based on watching the video and listening to experienced pilots discuss their observations on the crash, that I have concluded the pilot in charge of that landing was not qualified to do so. If I walked onto a passenger plane and saw her up front, I would walk off immediately. If it turns out later my conclusion about her is wrong, I will admit it.

Just as I admitted on this forum that I was wrong about your hero Joe Biden. I have fully admitted previously that I underestimated the extent of his incompetence and the damage he could do to the nation when he was first elected. I continue to stand by that admission of error on my part.
