I thought like many on here after the win at IU we had turned the corner on the road and would finish strong. Instead four straight losses.
As said many times Painter’s red shirting two 4 star players when you lose your two best shooters was a big mistake. At least they would have gotten critical playing time and maybe added some links on this team.
Haarms and Wheeler have regressed. Thought Haarms would be scoring 20+ points per game. Wheeler has gone AWOL with a long shooting slump. Should be hitting wide open threes consistently. Hunter and Thompson show moments of really becoming star power but relapse the following game. Williams shows real promise with some big games. NE obviously gifted with athletic talent but has a shooting problem. Foul shooting for the team has not been consistent. Unfortunately a season lost.
Hopefully with next year’s new talent we will have something to cheer about. AtlantaJim
