1. Tre Mitchell is out. For those who don’t know, Tre is 6-9 and could be used as a stretch 5.He has been out for the past 8 games and Texas is 4-4 since the injury. We will turn the ball over but if can keep those TOS to around 13, then Purdue will have a decided advantage on the interior.
2. Chris Beard is a great coach, but I do think his defense would be elite if Mark Adams hadn’t stayed at TT. To me, it’s the equivalent of losing an elite defensive coordinator, and I think the adjustments during the game by Texas will not be able to adjust as quickly as it has in the past. We will be able to put up some points today.
Limit turnovers and we win somewhat easily. I will feel really good if we get officials that call it like an ACC matchup.
