Braden won his freshman year and Thorton went off last year. Can’t recall him causing Braden problems and can’t remember who defended Thorton last year, but Thorton scored a LOT in the mid range game if my memory is still accurate about where he scoredGreat!
Their PG, Thornton has the tools to disrupt Smith. Apparently, at Purdue that won't be a factor per vegas. If they can't disrupt Smith, that s game is already over. Works for me
I bet Cox/Colvin/Harris guard Thornton more. Braden might be more on Mobley, who seemed to run the offense the same or more than Thornton their last game.Braden won his freshman year and Thorton went off last year. Zed hacked Zach like 5 times and never got called for it haha…the Ohio state game woke the team back up tho 😀Yes. He and Battle primarily, and (big surprise) turnovers killed Purdue in that game.....14 leading to 22 points in Diebler's first game as interim coach. This was also the crazy game where Purdue went 20/20 from the FT line and still lost.
Smith had 12/6/7 with three turnovers in 39 minutes.
Braden will only have Thorton on switches. Braden will not have the scorer on D. 1) It saves energy for Braden’s offensive game. 2) If Braden is not tied down on D by defending their main scorer it allows him to leave his man some and read plays to get extra possessions.I bet Cox/Colvin/Harris guard Thornton more.
