Yes, RIP to Mr. Hackman - extremely saddened to hear of his passing with his wife and one of their pet dogs in their Sante Fe home.

He was one of my all-time favorite actors - on a select list of Oscar winners for both leading (French Connection) and supporting roles (Unforgiven) - nominated three other times and a few others that he probably should have.
