4 Star DT Ben Smiley Official Visit November 17th

Decommitted from Virginia, 4 star with offers from pretty much everyone including Bama, Oklahoma, Penn State etc. Just to able to compete against these programs in recruiting is saying something about how far we've come.
Any real chance here? Go get him CJB...

saw the other day that Georgia lost a DB commit Jalen Perry from Dacula, Ga., we have a Lineman from that town, maybe a shot at that DB?

Hope to see Simeon get significant PT against Wisky. Game saving INT returned for a TD might seal the deal too.

Hunter opposite to Karlaftis. Faucheux in the trenches with smiley.

Let's hope weaver jumps on board but looking like he has cooled on us.

2020 will be a scary defense.
I have been a big poster on hoping Weaver comes aboard for quite sometime. Hopefully Brohm was in town last week to see him, because I would say unfortunately UK is probably leading right now.

The entire Purdue staff used the bye weekend to travel. Don't remember who all went where but every remaining major target had at least someone there from Purdue this past weekend.
Wandale announced that he is announcing November 1st

What are the odds he selects purdue. 10%?
A lot of it depends on how they are able to make him perceive his value at Purdue, in Purdue’s offense, with a number of other playmaking WR’s and TE’s to throw to.

If they can convince him he’ll get targeted like a Moore and be moved around to be successful....

I think it is pretty low, but if we can beat Illinois, and then if we could beat Ohio State; it might get him to think. I think an Ohio State win would be huge with getting all of our remaining targets who might be on the fence. I know it is a big if to win that game, but I think we have a shot. Brohm will throw everything he has play and trick play wise in that game.

Does anyone know if Robinson will be visiting again before his commitment date? All the press out there seems to be on O$U, Nebraska, or Kentucky getting him. I have no idea where he will end up, but I haven't read anything in the media that points to Purdue getting him. That King Doerue sounds like he would be a good pick up.
