I'll never understand people who make bold, usually negative, prophesies and then get upset when someone points out they didn't come true.
Comment wasn’t directed at anyone on this forum as I don’t care nor remember who said what. I have more important shit on my plate. Was playfully complimenting the team as a whole for still thriving after losing Zach. If anything I heard the assists would fall from fans of other teams in the Big Ten.
I neither prophesied nor got upset. I observed and commented on a common phenomenon on this board

I agree with this a lot of the time. Sure, these Zach and Braden comments are trolling the trolls. It's a time-honored tradition in internet discussion forums. But, they also celebrate that these guys turned out to be WAY better than just about everybody thought.
MSU won the national title that year. Illinois and OSU both made the final four the next year.
