not one of them is a Purdue related change. Changes at Maryland, USC (Trojans), and USC (Gamecocks) - maybe that means Purdue Football isn't really part of the FBS? They sure don't act like it... how the present state of the program (if you can call it that) is allowed to exist at an FBS school is mind-boggling.

Oh, I forgot. Mitch Daniels is our President, Morgan Burke is our AD, and we have the most clueless Board of Trustees in the free world.

Well Sark would have a job if he weren't an alcoholic.

Spurrier would have a job (at least through the end of this year) if he didn't want to go out on his own terms.

Maryland is the only real situation similar to ours. They did the right thing and in the end I think Purdue will do the right thing too.

Mid Season firings don't really accomplish much in the long run....all it really does is give candidates a heads up that the job is open. That's really it. Nothing can openly happen with negotiations since the coaches involved will most likely be trying to finish out successful seasons at their current schools for more bargaining power.

Getting rid of Shoop ASAP would help this team immensely though. Then dump Haze after we lose to IU.
