Update on the U19 team. 3 of the potential 24 candidates withdrew already, including Diamind Stone. I like Biggie's chances. And Vince should provide enough big skill to make the team as well.

Nice. Hope they are among the 12 chosen instead of the 9 cut.

Would say a lot about Matt's ability to recruit as well as gaining some more valuable summer experience with PJ already going to China for team play.

Article says they cut to 15 on Monday, so six more go after today. We'll know more soon. They get to the final 12 not long after that to give them time to meld as a team prior to the trip to Crete.

You'd think Stone might have been considered for a slot similar to Biggie, so that probably gives Swanigan a leg up now.

There are still plenty of big guys left but this does open up a huge slot. I had stone pegged as the main big man starter for this USA team. Now I bet Giles gets it but Biggie could be a great bench contributer.
