We bought in a gunslinger from Wyoming We had Billy DIcken at Qb and a whole bunch of 2-3 star talent on offense but somehow a offensive genius Joe T beat ND on NationalTV and took us to 9 wins vs 3 loss season. We scored over 40, 4 times and played good defense. Well we are more then ready for a repeat performance by Jeff B. He has the offense to repeat our efforts of some 20 years ago. His recruiting efforts to get help in the areas of need to score in the 40's once again are greatly appreciated. Getting the two JC kids will help immediately. For some reason after watching some WKU games this year I know he is a far superior coach then past staff and will get these young men ready to contribute on the field sooner then later. Would we settle for 9 wins again, heck yes but 6 would maybe get the foundation of a statue of JB started!! lol Boiler up

Tiller inherited 16 players that would go on and play in NFL. You probably know better than me but I don't see Brohm inheriting any where close to that.

Most of these kids were coached up under the Tiller system and benefited a great deal........If Jimbo coached these kids for another 2-3 years, most probably would have never made it.

16? Where did you see that? Seems way high.

Nwokorie, Okeafor, Colvin, Light, Gorin, Hawthorne, Okobi... who am I missing?

You are missing quite a few. I should get this pinned at the top so every time someone references "if Tiller can do it, so can Brohm".

RB Watson
WR Daniels
WR Alford
WR Jones
TE Blackmon
OL Fischer
OL Light
OL Gorin
OL Okobi
OL Allen
DL Colvin
DL Nworkie
DL Okeafor
DL Nugent
LB Reeves
DB Hawthorne

That's 16 and Dicken and Willie Fells both played in CFL.

Hey, what's wrong with you?!?! There is NO place for optimism on this board! (I applied to join the Lafayette Optimist Club . . . .

but I don't think I'll get in!)

They all played in regular season NFL games? Or just got into a camp?

Wow, why didn't we win the SuperBore?! (Oh, yeah, we're not eligible).

Technically, I believe there was a freshman QB on that team named Brees. I think he went on to play a few games in the NFL too.;)
