2026 with the # of recruits & level of talent of those leaving makes this a class that has to be a great one.

Good point but these will be kids coming onto a team with juniors Harris, Cox, Burgess, Benter and Jacobsen. Assuming none leave - should be a solid rotation for young talented kids to come in and be impact players.

SR3 is the next Jaden Ivey IMO! Kid plays with his head up and just makes things happen. Has 3 sisters on Purdue's women's team now. I have watched his games for two years. His family is grounded and so is he. You won't hear him bragging about anything (Except for his sisters). He just goes out and scores 25 per lets his game do the talking. In short, he simply fits the Purdue mentality Painter is always looking for. My favorite recruit no matter the class.
To be fair, I think the youngest Reynolds sister (Kira) is a 2025 Purdue recruit

. Honestly, I would assume the roster would help with any incoming visitors on a recruiting trip. Paint, coaches and/or players have established a family atmosphere.
Reynolds looks like the type of kid we need to start an NIL piggy bank for. Match any offers.

Yah just did some searching and he’s a recent transfer to Grayson so unlikely he played with Gicarri. I also don’t see an offer from Purdue listed yet or any reference to it from him. Maybe too soon 🤷🏼♂️

I plan to catch a game or two of Thompson in the upcoming season….Lebanon, OH is not far from Mason,OH.

Good to hear that. These Ohio 5 stars rarely get away from OSU, but hopefully Purdue getting foot in the door early and recent success will help.
I just spoke to my friend...and found out Thompson transferred to a school in northern Ohio, so will not be able to watch any games this upcoming season.

I don't know how hard we are still pursuing Gabe Sularski. He played for my alma mater, and my son's school, Benet Academy, before transferring to Lemont HS this summer. Got a little intel today from a former player's dad, who doesn't like Gabe's game that much that he'd be worthy of B1G offers. The main critique was Gabe's disinterest in playing a team game. Might be why he left Benet. Rumor was also that he basically dropped out of Benet after Spring Break last year. If all that is true, I can't imagine CMP is interested.

Hmmm. Fantastic (and very expensive) school but not someplace you would generally go for basketball reasons.
