As of today purdue should be national champ favorite and smith should be favorite for NPoY. Ofc things can and will change but purdue should be favorite.

Houston loses Cryer and Robert's, surprised they are that high.

Unfortunately think UCONN should be right up there too. Most of team should return and have nice Freshman class. Hurley will likely dip into portal too. Karaban is prime example of why you should leave if you are a projected first round pick. Had a bad year not being 3rd or 4th option and fell off draft boards.

Nice to see Purdue right there though. Hopefully Painter will swing for the fences and get another high impact transfer or 2.

All will add guys. We could add a guy and maybe be #1.....OR even fall, if others add a better class of guys.

But what forecasters should see, hopefully we have THE guy in Smith.

I would think that Purdue should have the #1 odds with this roster. Wondering if a significant reason is that the odds are still building in a real possibility of Flagg returning. I would be shocked if he didn’t declare for the NBA, but with NIL, it might not be the open and shut decision that it once was.

The reason is because people bet Duke regardless of whether they are the best or not and sports books generally set lines to generate fairly even money across teams.
