2022 4 Star RB Just Decomitted from IU

Bring him in as a running back + WR. As much as Purdue runs their screens, reverses, shallow cross routes, if he can run, catch, and block then give him a look.

Agree with the post about attitude. That is on display for all to see so perhaps he is a pass.

I am confident the coaches will get it figured out and show interest if they believe he can contribute to the team.

He was told IU would only take so many running backs, then they took more. He was also assured they would get a top flight RB coach to replace the guy who went to ND. They instead hired a guy who was in an analyst position and who was much more known as a quarterback coach, not an RB one. See ya . . .

Craig Johnson, the new running backs coach, known more for being a quarterback backs coach? The guy that coached Saquon Barkley as a rookie and Chris Johnson? Yeah, he's much more known as a qb coach.

Try and troll harder.

Hmmmm nice spin? It would be one thing if they brought in two other class of 2022 RBs but they brought in one plus transfers. Would he really have expected they would go into next season with 3 scholarship backs who aren’t even old enough to order a beer at Nicks?

Also if he is really threatened by a Tulane decommit not sure what he thinks he’s going to do next.

Johnson’s coaching record is mostly as a quarterback coach. It’s well known in coaching circles, just as it is that the Giants pushed him out of the position you mentioned. Wonder why? Boogie continues to show he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Typical Indinia football fan. I’m sure you think IU poached Adam Henry from the Cowboys, too. You need to try a lot harder.

I think he probably expected they were going to do what they said they were. When that didn’t happen and he lost his position coach, he was gone.

But that’s not what he said… he talked about communication and genuine relationships in his tweet. I’m sure his position coach didnt help but if CTA isn’t engaged throughout a recruiting process with probably your best recruit at a major position of need who isn’t related to someone already on the staff or team, that should be a major red flag. But I doubt that’s true based on what other recruits have said about him. No other recruits left when their position coach departed. You’re throwing speculation out there that doesn’t align with what came right off his unfiltered keyboard.

Sounds like what out trailer park friends down south would call a “Pre Madonna”…
This. Any recruit that takes a shot at the school in his tweet makes you wonder how much you want them in the room. The no love lost hashtag makes it sound like there was some major conflict there and it is why I would expect iu to release him as that is rare. Iu lost someone at a major position of need and that scholarship is lost they can’t fill it with someone else as he is locked in as an initial counter. It also makes you wonder if this guys temperament was a reason a lowly big ten program ended up with such a highly rated recruit, similar to Blake Wesley and Kristian Lander.

Just because he didn’t say everything in a hashtag doesn’t mean there isn’t more to the story. There’s a ton of discord in Bloomington right now, and you’d probably be surprised how that kind of information leaks out, and to whom. Either way, there’s more to it than concluding that nobody else left, so it must be the kid. Would just say that asking out of a signed LOI at this late date is a very sure sign that this was much more than a new coach not touching base often enough.

I wasn’t trolling Boogie, he responded to me. But he gets it wrong so often here that it’s impossible to not gig him a little.
