2020 QBs

Surely with this influx of talent at the WR position, you’d think a high profile, pro-style QB that fits Brohm system would be a pretty easy pull for Brohm and the staff. Any 2020 QBs that fit that mold that we are interested in that we know of?

We’ll likely know more in a couple weeks as offers start to go out and in to the spring as kids take some unofficial visits. Purdue will also have a big junior day and that might clarify some of the big fish Purdue is looking at.

For now, this is what I have:

4 Star Parker McQuarrie: 6’7 208 from NH
Offers forms Purdue (warm), BC (warm), UM (warm), Whisky (warm), Rutgers (cool) and Pitt (cool).
Looks from OSU, UNC, Wash, and PSU.

3 Star Michael Alaimo: 6’3 196 from NJ
Offers from BC, Cal, Cinncy, UMASS, UNC, Pitt, Purdue, Rutgers, Temple, Yale (all offers cool).
Looks from Auburn, Duke, Florida, UGA, Miami, NC State, UCF, UCLA.

Yeah I saw the McQuarrie kid on 247 and thought he looked interesting, especially cuz of his size. But Wisconsin and Michigan May be tough to beat out. Boston College.. I don’t even know what to say about them.

Kid from the West team was legit. I thought the West had the better QB’s but the East clearly dominated the LOS and had better overall skill players on offense.

Other than one season with Wilson, quarterback play has always been Wisconsin’s Achilles heel. It’s scary to think of them with a top-notch qb to play behind that line with the dominant back that they always seem to find...

It will be tough for Wisconsin the add a 4 star behind 5 star Mertz who set record for touchdown passes (5) in All American Bowl.

I’m more worried they are actually recruiting big time offensive lineman and not needing to develop them as much. Think they grabbed a 5 Star OT this year.
