10 players have departed with Rob Simmons announcing...

Simmons announced he would be leaving the program on Friday via Twitter. That makes for 10 total players before spring ball even starts up. My best guess is it will likely balloon up to 16 by the time the semester ends and Brohm likely adds 3 transfers to shore up the defensive line/LB’s and potentially another OL or a TE.

The Simmons move was weird to me as I thought he had a chance to see PT this year with how thin we are at LB. Must mean we have some guys coming in that will play immediately via Transfer or our RS or true FR.

I think the LB's that were freshman last year will impress...especially Barnes. I think he is likely to be a special player in the mold of Bentley.

Still with Bailey and three rising Sophomores we dont have much else. Im pretty sure Fakasiieiki moved to DL so we have no scholarship depth to speak of

Spring ball should be interesting, especially from defensive side-lots of question marks on D-Line. Is Chaz Turner still on team? He had shown promise last spring at DE until knee surgery nearly a yr ago sidelined him. Also will Giovanni Reviere factor in at DE. JC Kai Higgins is still a mystery too. DT Alex Criddle played a lot for Hazel his frosh year and I don't think he got on the field in 2017? What about DT's Watts,Daniels and another JC Ray Ellis?

I have major concerns re; inexperience and depth along the front 7----I suspect Holt does too?

Turner is still on the team.

I didn't post it, I just read the posts. It was about a month ago. maybe the y read it on knucklehead central and were afraid to reveal what they read.

The LB that was anticipated from WKU, declared for the NFL rather than seek grad transfer.

I think he was a replacement for Craft, once they moved on from him.

I think they'll still target a graduate transfer at LB
