I'm not the person that said those things but I will chime in anyway.

Brees joined the Boilermaker Alliance in September and was quoted "Boilermaker Alliance will also provide all our amazing coaches the resources they need to compete for championships". So it's not a matter of CMP asking Brees to open his wallet. He has already said the resources will be there.

You want to talk about Stupidity? It was stupid when CMP said "If NIL is important to you Purdue may not be for you". Name 1 other P5 coach that said that. You won't be able to.

I do not want CMP fired. I do want him to change his stance on NIL and to do it publicly so we are not at a disadvantage. The Alliance was established just for this purpose, he needs to use it to every advantage possible.
Agree 100000000%.

This is by far my biggest issue with Painter. And it’s the one issue that could cost him his job at some point.

You don't know anything about me "in real life". You're exhausting. Have a great time with chasing posters making sure you get in the last word. Clearly thats a priority to you. 😉 Enjoy.
Didn’t say I knew you. Said I knew Purdue people like you.

The hardcore Purdue hoops folks I know at least have an idea or a plan, even if I don’t agree with it.

You don't and you don't.
Yeah, i actually do know a handful of “fire painter but it’s someone else’s job to figure out who to hire” types. It’s fine, we need the casual fans too.

I’m a casual Pacers fan, but that doesn’t keep me from voicing my opinion that they should be tanking this season.

Whatever

Miami/Connecticut should be a really good game. Probably the two teams playing the best in the tournament. Miami takes out Indiana, Houston, and Texas......that's well done and impressive.

Jordan Miller goes 7/7 from the field and 13/13 from the FT line for 27 points. Crazy good.

Guard play on both those teams is outstanding.

Hawkins and Jackson for UConn

Wong/Miller/Pack for Miami

Hawkins has Eric Gordon-like range and release.....

The only thing I wonder about is NRG Stadium - shooting can be difficult with the backgrounds in the football-made-for-basketball facilities.

I feel like once they got past Drake, which was not an easy game for Miami, the Miami guards have been playing with supreme confidence. Wong and Miller combined for 3-17 from the field against Drake, but then turned it around and dominated IU. A lot of times, I feel like the early games can be tougher for teams because of the expectations. This weekend, Miami was just playing with no hesitation, knocking off Houston and Texas.
