Nice W for the coaches and players but it's far too little too late for DH2.

Beating Illinois should not move the needle. $hit - they won in Champaign 2 years ago.

I agree that one win, even an exciting and unexpected one, doesn't change much. But I don't think it's "too little too late" just yet.

The Boilers have another chance to build some momentum. A win over offensively-challenged but defensively-stout Iowa would go a long way toward sustaining at least some progress.
