5 on Friday and I don’t blame them one bit. Sucks for Washington as some might follow the Coach and at this late date and recruiting is tough without a Head Coach

When a HC coach leaves a program, there is a 30 day transfer portal exemption to anyone in the program. I think incoming 2024 recruits that signed NLI can leave the program as a transfer.

This is why Washington has to move fast in hiring a HC, else there might not be a roster to work with.

Walters had a similar issue, not as bad as Washington, where Walters was hired late and there were not enough players in the roster to conduct Spring football last year.
