I don't know why it matters where we fall in the standings other than giving another reason to complain. I think what accomplishes is that we have plays for 2-point conversions that are run from that formation...one with Cottom was successful earlier this season. Secondly, it gives the opponent one more thing to prepare for.

The idea is that if they aren't aware of what's going on, you can get an overmatch either to the side with all the people, or up the center. Run it in and get 2 instead of 1. It worked once last season (that I remember).

I prefer having the kicker, just before the snap, point to the sidelines and yell "Squirrel". If the defense looks for the squirrel, take the snap and run it in. This way only 1 person looks like an idiot.
