Bad enough everyone has to see all things iu replayed ad nauseam in prime time, not to mention all those lingering clips of bozos wearing clown pants and devil’s pitchforks in league promos, but now they’re sticking us with “Purdue Classics” like the 2012 NCAA game with St. Mary’s.

We mean the St. Mary’s that fed Marquette High School, playing a Purdue team that wore burlap bags to cover its Johnsons. Who wanted to see Robbie Hummel forced to wear a dress?

Nothing at all classic about the game, either, where Purdue led all day from 8 to 13 points against a bunch of squirrels until falling behind for the only time in the last minute. Savor that?

Why show us in a 10-7 game rather than any of the three previous times we were a No. 1 seed? Because interns from the goober pile skool of jurnelusm run the BTN, that’s why.

Mamas, don’t let your Boiler babies grow up to be anything but media people. Time to retake full ownership of the league we founded and again own in basketball reality.
