Purdue commit camps with Buckeyes

What do you think about Jacob Long, verbally committed to Purdue and then turns around and goes to camp at Ohio State. Why commit if you want to continue looking at other schools?

Yep, nothing to see here. same old thing. Commit early so you have a spot, then try to find a better spot. I do believe some just go to certain camps for the experience or to challenge themselves against other great players.

Just because a kid camps somewhere, doesn't mean that school is interested in him to play there necessarily. They most likely invited like the top 100 kids in the state, which he obviously qualifies.

Shouldn't this be taken as a GOOD sign that we got a kid who might be pretty decent? If he doesn't land here, Purdue will still have a football team believe it or not!
