They add voice recognition to Chrome, and people assume Google is trying to spy on them.

They add voice recognition to Chrome, and people assume Google is trying to spy on them.

Problem is it gets added in "monitor mode" and it's not supposed to be. It also pertains more towards chromium than Chrome itself.

Sadly, its not shocking. I pretty much assume everything I do online or in the presence of my phone is being logged at this point. I still can't believe some people voluntarily put cameras in their house (Xbox kinect, nest, etc.). It's hard enough to maintain any privacy as it is - I'm trying not to make it any easier while balancing it with connectivity. The younger the generation, the less concerned with privacy they seem to be (which is sad from my perspective).
