Can't miss the front end of 1-1's in tight games on the road - really came to haunt us. Aside from that, We had no answer for DAngelo Russell - he is sick

Yeah but when they go to the line nearly 40 times ...... Same old story as when we went to whisky

Purdue had 23 fouls, OSU had 18. The FT disparity comes from when and where the fouls are committed. Many of OSU's fouls seemed to be non-shooting fouls, where Purdue was committing fouls when OSU was shooting. Maybe that observation is wrong, but watching the game it did not seem the calls were one-way. You can also point out fouls that weren't called, but those go both ways. At the end, if we make our free throws, including the front-ends of 1 & 1s, we don't lose the games. Multiple missed front ends midway through the second half when OSU was rallying killed us, they would have helped hold off the run.

The only issue I had with the FTs is allowing a freshman to throw his head back and refs are dumb enough to call it. Do I think there was enough contact on RD's drive near the end for a foul, no. However, a very similar drive at the other end was called a foul just a few possessions earlier, but that was Russell. It's either a foul or it isn't. Refs need to quit being a part of building certain players up due to the hype surrounding said players. Call what you see, consistently.
