Current temperature in the local area is 19 degrees and expected to rise to the heat wave of 23 degrees by kickoff. Purdue (5-4, 4-2 in Big Ten Conference) will try to get its first win in TCF Bank Stadium and also get bowl eligible today as they face Minnesota (4-5, 1-5) with a 3:30 p.m. kickoff today on ESPN2.
