No concern about the crummier view or the fact that team at one time actually reprsented the students and the school. "They're going to love the nice shiny new toy." Nevermind that they won't be able to effectively see the replays on the scoreboard on the skyscraper behind them.
Yeah, I am old, but back then, students moved up with seniority so that by your senior year you might be on the 35 yd. line. Our student section will be the furtherest from the entrance tunnel and no where near the opponents' bench or fans. Even ND's student section is on the curve and where players and students can interact (high fives, school song, etc.) post game.
At least be honest, Mike, and say that this is all about maximizing revenue by putting the lowest payers in the least valuable seats. The TV revenue will never be enough - students will be like the ones they import for the "student sections" for the NC game.
