For context, I'm a high handicapper. Do you give merit to "gimmick" clubs? Just ordered a "mini" driver from Thomas Golf. The shaft is only 43.5" (shorter than conventional) and the head is only 230CC. I'm hoping I have more control of it. If I had a choice, keeping it in the fairway is more of a priority than distance, but slicing the crap out of it.
