I'm really not trying to bash Sindelar but I was a little taken aback with the big smile he had when shaking hands with a Wiscy player post game...
After that horrible first qtr they fought hard, that's coaching

Well in the big picture... If someone would have told me last weekend that it would be raining in Madison, Badgers would score 14 points not even half way through first quarter, we would not score a touchdown and the final score would end up 9-17. Think I would have been really happy. But....it really does feel like we really let one get away from us somehow.
In years past, if we had this many missed opportunities against a top 10 team, the old team would have collapsed. This team kept fighting. I like their attitude! This game could have easily gotten away from us, and been a 30 point smack down. Our boys did not let that happen, giving Wisconsin a good game.
It is going to be a couple more years before we accumulate enough speed and talent to win these, but you can see the bones forming.
