I have talked to JPC a half dozen times about Mackey reseating and had settled on a one time donation that would boost my points enough to buy 4 lower bowl seats. I’ve decided to put that on hold.
2022 is a good year revenue wise and it made sense to divert some of that to JPC but I just don’t see it as the right place to help Purdue.
Purdue had as much time as anyone to prepare for these changes and has either decided not to run with the big dogs or were just caught flat footed.
To be clear, I don’t want Purdue to pay a player like Pack 800k. I don’t want them paying any player for that matter. And I definitely don’t want to be sitting in the 4th row when a team like Belmont comes in and legitimately kicks our ass because ya know NIL.
I think it’s time to sit back and watch for a few months to a year to see what happens.
