I haven't seen this posted, but it appears to be a follow-on to Forde's reckless calling out of Purdue to beware of the boot from the BIG.
Forde performed a "Desirability" assessment for 69 schools, and our Boilermakers rank about 40. I can clearly challenge elements of the analysis, but in light of our bad past in football, he gives us a respectable ranking. Purdue rocks in STEM education, but due to the land-grant history, we're never going to be like a Michigan or Cal. Obviously, our all sports, attendance, and viewership are not as strong as in other regions.
Some received high rankings that I was surprised with, such as Iowa State, Mississippi, Northwestern, NC State, Ariz St, Arkansas, VA Tech, Utah, TCU, Kentucky, and BYU.
