Good Morning All & Happy Last Day of February!

The month of February generally seems to always drag on, but this month seemed to fly by. Purdue Basketball struggled during the month, the weather wasn't awful... somehow and Purdue Football continued to evaluate the class of 2024.

With that being said, the dead period of college football recruiting will end on March 1st at 12:01 AM. The dead period lasted from January 30th until February 28th at 11:59 PM. The dead period described by the NCAA is... "A dead period is that period of time when it is not permissible to make in-person recruiting contacts or evaluations on or off the member institution’s campus or to permit official or unofficial visits by prospective student-athletes to the institution’s campus."

Tomorrow will start the "Quiet" Period, which the NCAA defines as... "A quiet period is that period of time when it is permissible to make in-person recruiting contacts only on the member institution’s campus. No in-person, off-campus recruiting contacts or evaluations may be made during the quiet period." The Quiet Period will last from March 1st until April 14th.

During the quiet period, you will see Purdue hosting several Junior Days. Purdue has a jam-packed weekend for high school juniors (Class of 2024) coming to campus. There will be over 20 visitors this weekend from all over the nation.

I will have a list for you all on my "Weekly Upload" Friday morning, and Jace will also have a more in-depth dive into each prospect coming to Campus.
