Edit: Duke won 3-2 over Creighton. After Purdue lost to Loyola today, the circle was completed. Purdue beat Duke, who beat Creighton, who beat Loyola, who beat Purdue. Duke’s 5’ 9” outside hitter Rachel Richardson led Duke with 16 kills.
Got to Holloway in time to see the end of set 4 and all of set 5 of Duke’s win over Creighton. Like a lot of Purdue fans, I rooted for Duke. Watching them play, I’m glad we did not have to play them today else we might have been 0 and 3 for the weekend.
