From Post Dispatch in STL:
Yuri Collins already had cemented his status as a St. Louis University record breaker, putting his name at the top of lists that he might occupy forever. Given two more seasons he was on his way to playing more games and more minutes than anyone in program history.
However, that storyline came to an end Monday when the the nation’s assist leader announced he would enter the transfer portal.
But any eligibility will be used elsewhere with speculation from sources being that Collins was told by scouts that he would benefit from playing at a higher level.
The point guard from St. Louis averaged 7.9 assists in 2021-22, and broke the SLU career, season and single-game records
