You guys have a heck of a team

The Gators were well coached and were able to stop much of the easy play under the basket without a real "aircraft carrier" type to match up against ours. That was a good game. Florida gave it all they had and were gassed at the end. That is a team with some good fight in them.

Really impressed with how you played. Definitely took it to us and the better team, by far, won. Good game and good luck the rest of the season!
Same to you! Good, athletic, well coached teams are hard to come by.....good luck!

Classy post from a classy program. UF has more NCAA tourney championships than IU in the last 20 years. #BlueBloods

Thanks. That's a legit Florida team we saw tonight, much closer than a 15 pt spread. They are buying in to the coach's defensive mentality. If your coach can get those guys to improve shot selection they will do very well this year.

This.
The Gators are indeed legit, and it took a total team effort at both ends of the floor for Purdue to finally prevail...

UF will be a match-up nightmare for most teams they play-- Good luck going forward.

I actually disagree with that. I think 15 pts was about right in terms of the talent level. Stephens was terrible in terms of shooting in the first half and we also were bad in the FT department in the first half while that African dude they had hit 100% of his free throws in the first half while only shooting 60% for the season. Probably should have been a 10 to 12 pt spread at half and could have been worse at the end of the end. The team just mauled Florida and worked them down until they were exhausted and couldn't fight anymore. I loved seeing that. Purdue just BREAK another team's will into little pieces.

Anyway, thanks to the OP for the awesome post. I think Florida will finish higher in the SEC than 6th and probably give Kentucky a run in Gainsville. Good luck the rest of the year!
