I am disappointed that the team that beat us was so easily stomped out of the tournament in their very next game, THEN on top of that comes the salt in the wound, which is that the team that beat UALR then gets stomped out in abusive fashion. Dang, It's like we would have never survived ANY additional rounds. Doesn't say much for us or for our coaching staff. The good news is that Isaac Haas will be our beast next year....i dare teams try to stop him, he will be a ninja force on the court and may end up breaking our single season scoring record set by Glen Bigdog Robinson...wow, can't wait.
You can't compare what Ark did in next game to what happened against Purdue. Ark was likely gassed after 2 OT's against Purdue. What fans forget is that Texas A&M and Little Rock made plays to win those games. Ark made 2 long 3's and another one that bounced backward in Purdue game. They made plays.
gassed? no, other teams founds ways to keep winning. they were just not that good as far as completing with teams of high caliber,,,,except that they beat Purdue, a team of high caliber. It makes no sense and the more i see whats happening in this tourney the more i think Purdue could have accomplished something, perhaps just getting in and getting a 5 seed was enough for Painter and us fans.
