it resulted in IU extending Tom Crean at the end of this year, and losing to Purdue would of been the proverbial final nail in the coffin? Silly question, but..... what if?

Not worried at all about who IU's coach is.

Crean is probably the most successful of their last 3 coaching hires. Let that sink in for a minute.

I'll be OK with the outcome as long as the Boilers play hard, play smart, take good shots, play solid defense, keep their composure, don't beat themselves, don't allow the crowd and officiating to get to them, etc.

I'm not concerned about Crean's future. That's somebody else's problem.

IMO: this is going to be a very tough out for Purdue. IU's back is against the wall; we're going to see their very best effort. Indiana shoots very well at Assembly Hall, and they have the kind of back court players who have given Purdue problems in the past. I'm pretty sure Isaac Haas is already in foul trouble, and the game doesn't start for 4 days.

I'll be thrilled if Purdue wins, but I won't go ballistic if Purdue loses. Rivalry games are always a little different.

I wouldn't be okay with losing to Indiana if Vampire Benito Mussolini were our coach...but I would start a daily FIRE UNDEAD IRON PREFECT! thread on this board.
