They have talent, but not enough moxy to carry them thru. I want to be wrong, but when wallet is speaking, I have to listen. I'm not a historian, but only 1 breakthrough in 25 years isn't enough to get a vote of confidence, and today proves who we are. We are a good team that can be matched up and when FT are the line, we blew it today. Michigan shoots 78% to Purdue's 46%...nuf said + weak defense to let them run ole' and tie it with an easy layup in regulation. That part was shameful as well.

We are the second best free throw shooting team in the league, how do we only shoot 46%? Otherwise we played good enough to win. Missed free throws (along with the refs) cost us the game! UM will probably choke like they always do and lose their next game; making our lose look even worse.

Missed bunnies, missed free throws..
It's March and our old friend came back for a visit! Call it poise, mental toughness, whatever moniker you want to give it. It reared its ugly head today. This team just doesn't play loose when it counts most. We'll see if it continues next week.

I called for investment in a staff sports psychologist a couple years back. Might be a good investment.
