Women’s Soccer opens their season with a 1-0 W over Washington State

I don’t know much about soccer except the basics but it was fun to watch the game tonight. It was a defensive battle with Purdue’s Senior Gracie Dunaway finally scoring with 14 mins left in the second half. Then Purdue withstood a furious effort by WSU to come back to tie the game. It is the first win for newly hired coach Richard Moodie.

Hopefully we follow this up with BIg Ten wins this year.

That's great to hear!

It would be great to see Purdue soccer get back to being a regular NCAA Tournament participant. Wasn't that long ago.

I know this rebuild will take time. It's nice to see it off to a promising start.
